Disability Facilities

Introduction

The original aim of the Tram Stop Shelter charity is to improve the facilities in the area so that people who are less able can enjoy our seafront in as good a way that able bodied take for granted.

Appropriate toilet and changing facilities and good access to the beach and sea was of paramount importance.

To help them to enjoy a visit to the seaside and activities in the fresh, clean air without the discomfort and problems of lack of facilities that exist on our seafront.

Research with disability groups and organisations continue to ensure that we provide what these people need.
